Night Shoot at Echo
Sunday, April 8th, 2007Went and shot with the Jibij guys again last night – Echo Mountain was our destination this time. As usual a great time was had and some neat photos were made, in spite of some issues I had with flashes. Working on those now hope to have them up early this week.

Monday, April 2nd, 2007Went to Keystone yesterday to celebrate this wonderful holiday. There was a HUGE turnout. We managed to round up a majority of the people who dressed up and got a group shot of them. I made a wallpaper of that shot, you can find it here.

Cotapaxi Football

I had the chance to go check out the Cotapaxi Pirates play some football recently. Jenn’s cousin plays for their team and invited us to a few games. I took the opportunity to of course get some shooting done. I had fun watching the games, the most recent game this past weekend was to get into the playoffs. Things didn’t start out too well for the home team, but they rallied and came back from being down by two touchdowns to only loose by two points. The game went down to the wire and was a real nailbiter. Congrats to the Pirates for playing hard.
Becca and Jake go sledding

School was closed today which meant I stayed home with the kids. With all the snow C. Springs got yesterday we took a perfect opportunity to hit the local sledding hill and do some damage. The hill was packed, seemed almost as if everyone in town had the same idea as us. Didn’t stop the kids however. After a few runs to build some confidence, Jake was hitting one of the many jumps that popped up on the hill. 
. That scared him pretty good and they didn’t keep that up for very long. We worked our way around to a less crowded section of the hill that had a pretty good track already packed out and again they got to business. This time things went much better, they were flying down the hill and having a blast, and I was snapping away. Two hours and 150 shots later they were wet, tired and totally stoked about an awesome day on the hill. 
I ended up with a few good portraits of the kids and a few more good action shots of them doing what they do best. Couldn’t be happier.
